Interserve designed, constructed and completed the new Mental Health Resource Centre within a challenging 19-month timescale receiving a special commendation as part of the Coventry Design Awards.

We were appointed at Outline Business Case (OBC) and developed the design through Full Business Case (FBC) and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). The congested and heavily-trafficked area required attention to ensure on-going hospital activities and functionality were not compromised.

This unique facility was designed to occupy a constrained site and supported by the local planning authority and urban regeneration company as being a landmark catalyst for future development. The Centre houses operations and day unit care, outreach and community teams in a new three-storey building in front of the main hospital.
