Highbridge Properties
Interserve has enjoyed a collaborative working relationship with Highbridge Properties for over a decade. Projects have been delivered successfully within central and northern England.
Over the last 10 years, Interserve has carried out £75m worth of projects within the East Midlands and a further £70m in the North and West Midlands including:
New HQ building for Cellular Operations, Swindon
Cellular Operations Limited, a client of Highbridge Properties required an HQ building that would promote an exciting environment, contributing positively to business performance, staff motivation and retention.
Interserve was engaged in the development of the exciting concept to ensure buildable and economic solutions. A major element of the design was the free form profile of the glazed elevation providing views of the lake and park. Interserve selected experts BACO Contracts in partnership with Pilkington to deliver the support structure and glazing feature. This was a vital element of the project, as the delivery of the building elevation was engineered to a cost of c. £1.4m despite initial estimates of £1.9m.
Key features of the building include; relaxed recreational spaces with aspects over the lake and park; five themed washroom facilities spread throughout the building; solar shading provided by automatically-controlled, specially-fabricated aerofoil fins, which added a spectacular feature to the structure; a communication stair between the main floors, which was based on an inverted dinosaur spine with bespoke segment shaped treads.

The facilities incorporate traditional foundations, steel frame, brick and glazed elevations, tiled roofs and services.
Distribution warehouse and offices - No. 12, Sherwood Park
Interserve designed and built a 22,708 sq m new production, office and distribution warehouse facility on the Nottinghamshire Enterprise Zone at Sherwood Park.
The project consists of a steel frame on traditional foundations, extensive retaining walls to split level, metal roof and cladding, feature blockwork and mezzanine floors. All services and finishes were also included. The external works include approximately 100 car parking spaces, service yard and storm water retention on site.
Production, distribution and call centre, Sherwood Park
We designed and constructed a production, distribution and call centre for Promotional Logistics (Prolog) at Sherwood Park.
This building is phase 5 of the Prolog’s expansion at Sherwood Park and Interserve is proud to have been chosen for the design and construction of four of the total five phases.
A total of 20,316 sq m of floor area covers production, storage and three floors of offices. The building is a steel portal frame with contrasting profiled metal cladding and the extensive use of tinted glazing to the offices and main entrance. Interserve also won the interior office fitting-out contract and completed it at the same time as the main works.
