Interserve announces two-year partnership with Macmillan Cancer Relief

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting others and taking part in the wider community Interserve Plc is pleased to announce a two-year partnership with Macmillan Cancer Relief. This follows a successful two-year relationship with SportsAid raising over 28 grants to support talented sporting youngsters across the UK.

Macmillan provides expert care and emotional support that make a real difference for people living with cancer and their families.  Funded entirely through the generosity of supporters, its range of services includes Macmillan nurses and doctors, cancer care centres, a range of cancer information and direct financial help for those who need it most.

The nomination of Macmillan as Interserve's chosen charity will provide a focus for the charitable activities of staff in addition to the support given directly by the company itself.

"We're delighted to embark on this new partnership with Macmillan Cancer Relief," said Adrian Ringrose, Chief Executive of Interserve Plc, "I have no doubt that our staff will embrace the charity and work together to raise much-needed funds. It is important to Interserve that we make a commitment to helping others and our partnership with Macmillan is an excellent way of achieving this."
