Interserve Seminar on Transition to IFRS

Interserve will be holding a seminar this afternoon to explain the impact on its financial statements of the adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). 

 

The new standards will first apply to the Group's financial statements in 2005 and the seminar is intended to assist analysts and investors in understanding the accounting changes as they apply to Interserve and to help them prepare for the transition.

No material new information will be disclosed during the seminar, nor will there be any statement on current trading.

A copy of the presentation given at the seminar and a document explaining the effects in more detail will be available to download from Interserve's website (www.interserveplc.co.uk) from 5.00 p.m. today.
