Interserve confirms client speakers at Public Property Summit
Interserve clients from the Home Office, London Borough of Croydon, Defra and the London Borough of Ealing will join Interserve on stand B25 at the Public Property Summit at the Business Design Centre in London on 1-2 November to share best practice on driving value, delivering sustainability and improving services.
On day one (1 November) Tony Edwards, Head of General Property at the Home Office, presents at 11.50 about the benefits of introducing total facilities management across the department. On day two (2 November) at 11.20 Anita Collier, Strategic Relationship Manager and Head of the Built Environment Sustainability Team at Defra, will share its Sustainable Workplace Management model, which encompasses sustainability, asset and workplace management. The model has already achieved £126 million of savings for the department and provides an exemplar for estate rationalisation and efficiency across the wider government estate. Roger Amos, Head of Property and HR Shared Services at the London Borough of Ealing, presents at 1.30 on the Property Ealing partnership formed with Interserve in March 2009. To date, this 10-year workplace support model has achieved seven per cent saving on Ealing’s previous spend and a £4.9 million saving over the contract life.
