Interserve, the international support services and construction group, has been awarded a 12-month contract extension with Bolsover District Council to continue delivering its asbestos management surveys, with an option for further extension.
For the past five years, Interserve’s environmental services team has worked to develop tailored programmes to deliver HSG 264 and ISO 17020 compliant management, refurbishment, demolition, asbestos surveys as well as conditional monitoring across the council’s 5,500 domestic and corporate properties.
Darren Webster, national asbestos surveying manager at Interserve said: “Being able to deliver a sustainable and reactive service in what can be a challenging situation is of paramount importance, and our expertise in this area has proved invaluable; scheduling works to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum, while the health and well-being of tenants, the public and our people is protected.
