Interserve's Site Services unit provides equipment and associated services to companies undertaking construction, engineering, facilities management and similar activities.
We operate to ISO 9001 quality systems and have the equipment, knowledge and resources to provide an expert and comprehensive service.
Fire protection
We offer a comprehensive, tailored, managed service encompassing any or all of:
- Initial survey and risk assessment
- Advice on current legislation
- Supply and installation of the necessary equipment on site
- Appropriate signage, on-going servicing and periodic testing
All servicing is to BS5306 standards; all equipment is manufactured to BS:EN 3 standards.
Heavy goods transport
Our Heavy Goods Transport Fleet includes a range of vehicles available to deliver a broad range of materials, plant and equipment, for example:
- Articulated trucks supplied with a variety of trailer types including 45’ flat-beds and 45’ curtain-siders
- Ramped, fixed-axis crane vehicles and semi-low-loader extendable trailers
- Hi-ab type lorries with a range of crane capacities and incorporating plant bodies, making the vehicles ideal for moving a range of goods including vehicles, plant and equipment
- A variety of other specialist vehicles
Vehicles are supplied with trained and accredited operators. Drivers are qualified up to Class C+E DVLA (Heavy Goods Vehicles) and are slinger/banksman-trained and accredited. We also provide drivers holding the requisite ADR licensing allowing the transportation of hazardous goods and an abnormal load escort service.
Light commercial transport
Our light commercial hire service provides nationwide coverage and is supported by a combination of modern, well equipped workshops. These provide the all-important maintenance, repair and back-up facilities that ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
If desired we can tailor the vehicle logos and graphics to support particular branding requirements.

Our plant has a younger age profile than is usual in the industry.
- Modern, high-quality generators, rated from 10kVA up to 275kVA - available with installation, fuel-management and maintenance services
- It is equipped with a range of additional safety and security equipment

- Environmentally-friendly oils are used in machinery where the environment concerns are a priority
- Excavators, cranes and telehandlers can be supplied with operators or for self-drive

PPE
All our Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which we select through a rigorous review process, complies with the relevant British and European standards applicable for the particular equipment and its uses.

Our installation team, working from prepared foundations, will transport, position, level and link the site office and welfare needs. We offer a full range of small tools and equipment for hire or to purchase. Our range is selected from leading manufacturers to be sure of quality, performance and compliance with the latest health and safety regulatory requirements. The range includes:

A comprehensive service supports the whole life of the contract, throughout all construction activities - or, equally, within facilities management stages.
Vehicle/plant repair
We support our equipment with a variety of vehicle and plant workshops.
Our car and light commercial workshops provide maintenance and repair services for all makes of vehicle and include MOT test stations for Class IV and Class VII inspections. Our heavy goods vehicle workshops provide breakdown and repair services, pre-assessment and preparation for HGV MOT testing and safety inspection scheduling and service programmes to maintain vehicles and trailers.

Waste management
Interserve offers a waste management service encompassing all aspects of waste collection and disposal across the UK. This includes support and advice on segregation, waste minimalisation and environmental legislation.
Our service ranges from 4 cu m to 40 cu m containers of varying types to cover a range of segregated materials including hazardous and contaminated waste streams. A fleet of 8 wheel tippers and hook loaders are also available for any groundwork, muck shift, day work and aggregate material supply requirements.
With flexibility to suit differing sites and office locations, we are able to create specific audit reports to enable the identification of levels of waste produced and the details of the effectiveness of segregation and minimisation measures in place.
Our waste management personnel are WAMITAB (Waste Management Industry Training and Advisory Board) trained and accredited.
