Waste management

We offer a waste management service encompassing all aspects of collection and disposal from general office and commercial waste to specialist areas such as hazardous, confidential and clinical waste and asbestos. We can undertake:

  • Segregation
  • Waste minimalisation
  • Advice on environmental legislation
  • Support and advice in all areas including hazardous waste

In hospitals we operate through rigorous procedures, ensuring that clinical waste is handled and recorded appropriately. We also manage other forms of controlled waste such as paints, solvents, chemicals, fluorescent lights and electrical and electronic goods, the disposal of which must comply with the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) regulations.

We can provide containers of varying types ranging from 4 cu yd to 40 cu yd to cover a range of segregated materials including hazardous and contaminated waste streams.

With flexibility to suit differing sites and office locations we are able to create specific audit reports to enable the identification of levels of waste produced and the details of the effectiveness of segregation and minimalisation measures in place. Our waste management personnel are trained and accredited by the Waste Management Industry Training and Advisory Board (WAMITAB).
