Considerate Constructors Awards

awards-considerate-constructors-2011-goldInterserve received a total of 42 awards including three Considerate Constructors Bronze awards in 2010. We were awarded five times in 2011, including the Most Considerate site runner up for the Wisbech Flood Defence Scheme. We were Highly Commended Most Considerate New Commercial Contractor in the 10-year award 1997-2007.

Health and safety Awards

RoSPA
  • We received over 100 RoSPA Awards and five sector awards in five years.
  • In 2011 we were winners of two President's Awards for 10 consecutive Gold Awards and won a further 16 awards (six Gold Medals, eight Gold Awards and two Silver Awards).
  • Interserve has received the Facilities Management Sector Award 2010 and the National Defence FM Sector Award 2010.

Individual contracts

  • Malvern Community Hospital: Silver winners of the International Green Apple Award 2011 for The Built Environment and Architectural Heritage.
  • The Ripon flood alleviation scheme was awarded the Green Apple Environmental Award 2011 and it was runner-up at the Yorkshire Post's Environment Awards 2011 in the category of Built Environment Projects over £1 million.
  • Stoke Bardolph project working with Severn Trent Water: Highly Commended in the NEMEX Renewables Innovation category at the Environment and Energy Awards 2011.
  • High View Primary School won the prestigious Abercrombie Award for Best Sustainable Development 2011.
  • Fishlake Habitat Creation: Winner at the Yorkshire Post's Environment Awards 2011 in the Built Environment category of Projects under £1 million.
  • Dartington school: Winner of the Quality and Sustainability Award 2010, awarded by Devon Building Control Partnership.
  • Our Wisbech flood defence team received the Environment Agency's Exemplar Health, Safety and Environment Team Award 2010.
  • University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust was the only NHS Trust and public sector organisation to win a diamond award at the London Green 500 Awards 2010. London Mayor, Boris Johnson, presented the award to the Trust's facilities team in recognition of our first-rate work in identifying energy and carbon saving initiatives.
  • Torquay Community College project won the Regional Sustainability Award 2010 and was Highly Commended for the high levels of health and safety management.
