“An apprenticeship was the right choice for me because it enabled me to earn while I learned, without building up the debts that many university students do.”

Faisal Khan is an electrical apprentice working on the project to build Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Faisal became an electrical apprentice at Interserve after doing a traineeship.

He enjoys the variety of work he undertakes and believes the apprenticeship has made him a more independent and confident person.
