Interserve wins £15m construction contract for Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust

Interserve wins £15m construction contract for Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust Interserve, the international support services and construction group, has been successful in its bid to extend and remodel the existing Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust, a specialist NHS Trust for the care of women and babies. The £15m project will begin in September 2018.

The completed facility will provide new Intensive Care Unit & High Dependency Unit suites, Special Care Baby Unit, improved parent accommodation and clinical support.

The win is of strategic importance to Interserve and is the second healthcare project secured for a new customer in Liverpool in recent months.

Phil Shaw, Divisional Director, Interserve Construction North West said “We are happy to continue our long term relationship with the Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust, building on our existing knowledge of the estate and bringing our learning and experience from other neonatal and paediatric projects.”
