Interserve Group Limited, the international support services, construction and equipment group, is celebrating after being named winner of the Digital Construction Award in the Constructing Excellence Awards.
Interserve Construction, which was shortlisted for eight projects, was named winner in the Digital Construction Award for its innovative asset management solution with Northumbrian Water Group (NWG) and engineering group Wood.
NWG, Interserve and Wood won the digital award for their forward-thinking approach to data collection. Working with industry supply chain partners the team collaboratively developed a simple but highly effective information and data capture solution to create a warehouse of data to monitor and manage the Northumbrian Water’s entire infrastructure and assets saving costs and resources.
Chris Books, Interserve Framework Director, said: “We are delighted to have won this award with our partners NWG and Wood which recognises the team’s innovative and collaborative approach to delivering digital solutions with its partners to manage data and assets while delivering cost savings.”
Interserve was also shortlisted in six further awards. In the Integration and Collaborative Working Award, were it was named outright winner for its work on the Springwell Academy in Leeds, it was shortlisted for its work with South Tees Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. In the Digital Construction Award, it was shortlisted for Monmouth Comprehensive School and the Christie Proton Beam Therapy Centre.
Meanwhile, in the Building Project of the Year category Interserve was also shortlisted for its work on the Cripps Health Centre, Nottingham and the Rutherford Cancer Centre, Liverpool.
