Interserve awarded place on new £2.5bn Procure Partnerships Framework

by Interserve Press Office | Mar 16, 2020

Interserve awarded place on new £2.5bn Procure Partnerships FrameworkInterserve Group Limited, the international support services, construction and equipment group, has been awarded a place on the new £2.5bn Procure Partnerships National Minor Works Framework.

The framework is divided into two value bands - £50,000 to £1m and £1m to £4m - and can be accessed by local authorities, NHS Trusts, universities, emergency services and housing providers. Clients can choose from three call off options; two stage mini competition, single stage competitive tender, or direct award.

The framework is focused on ten regional lots covering England and Wales. Interserve has been successful in all its bids following its success on securing a place on Procure Partnerships’ original £8bn framework last year.

The pilot for the PPF was in the North West region where Interserve Construction was a contractor partner and through which it secured the £13m contract to deliver a project to create an arts and heritage centre in Oldham’s existing Victorian Grade 2-listed former library and museum.

Paul Harvey, Strategic Account Director, Interserve Construction, said: “Winning access to framework agreements such as this is a central part of Interserve Construction’s strategy. We are delighted that Procure Partnerships Framework has recognised our capabilities across a wide range of sectors choosing Interserve Construction as a contractor partner.

“This award follows our recent success on securing a position on several major framework agreements including the Government’s new £30bn Crown Commercial Services Framework, two frameworks with Yorkshire Water worth more than £2bn, the £2bn YORcivil framework for Yorkshire and Humberside and £1bn South West Wales Regional Contractors Framework.”

Robbie Blackhurst, Framework Director, Procure Partnership, said: "The standard of tenders was extremely high and we are confident that we have the best fit minor works contractor partners to deliver public sector projects within each sub-region.

“We wanted to provide a framework that afforded public sector clients with flexibility whist remaining within the law of compliance which has been achieved through the structure of the framework. The framework is not even 24 hours old and we have already begun to procure our first sub £4m projects through it, which reflects the market need for a strong minor works framework, with local contractors across England and Wales.”
